Joseph Fiennes has been cast as Michael Jackson in an upcoming TV movie about 9/11, Elizabeth, Michael, and Marlon. The movie, from a screenplay by Neil Forsyth, will dramatize the story of Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando, and Mr Jackson attempting to drive from New York to California after the attacks on the World Trade Center.
Mr Fiennes is best known for playing William Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love and Sir Robert Dudley in Elizabeth, both in 1998. More recently, he was a star of American Horror Story during the second season, playing Monsignor Timothy Howard.
Elizabeth, Michael, and Marlon will feature Brian Cox (Rushmore and Adaptation.) as Marlon Brando and Stockard Channing (Grease) as Elizabeth Taylor. There is no firm release date yet.
